2. Go to your profile and tap on : “24*7” help.
3. Click on manage my paytm account.
4. Select the option- I have lost my phone/number.
5. Choose: I am unable to access my account.
6. Now select the option- I need to block my account.
7. Then fill all the ownership details correctly and submit the block request.
8. Paytm will send you a confirmation message and your account will get blocked.

How to delete your Paytm account from old mobile app?

Paytm has recently removed the option to delete the paytm account from the new version. So you can use the old version paytm app to delete your paytm account.

Follow the steps given below:

1. Firstly download the old version paytm app on your device. You can download that from web in APK file.
2. Now login with the account you want to delete.
3. Go to your profile.
4. Then choose contact us
5. Click on “other” option.
6. In the subject write- Delete my paytm account.

METHOD 3:

How to delete paytm account by sending email

If you don’t want to use any of the paytm services then just follow the below given steps and your account will be deleted.

You must read the guidelines provided by paytm before deleting your account.

1. If you have balance in your account then either use it or transfer it to other account before requesting for closure of account. Transfer is only allowed after the KYC.
2. After closing of account you can’t login with the same phone number or e-mail details on paytm.
3. After deleting your account the transaction logs will saved on Indian servers for the next 10 years. These won’t be shared with any third party. Only the govt of india under the law can see them if needed.

First go to mail option and login the e-mail id that you have registered your paytm account with.

1. Click on compose mail option.
2. In the subject write- Please delete my paytm account.

How to delete Paytm account using customer care

You can directly contact the paytm customer care and ask them to delete your account.

To proceed, follow the steps:

1. You have to call the customer care number (0120 3888 388) with your registered mobile number.
2. Then make a request to delete your paytm account.
3. They will ask you the reason for closing account, give them a valid reason for closure.
4. They will submit your request and you will receive a confirmation text on your phone number.
5. Within 2 to 3 days your account will be deleted.

METHOD 5:

How to delete KYC account by changing the registered number

Nstead of deleting your account you can also change your KYC to a new number. For this you need to have both, the old number and the new number.

Follow the below steps to proceed.

1. First login with your paytm account.
2. Go to your profile. Click on edit profile.
3. Now replace the old number with the new number you want to register your account.
4. Click on save.
5. Then you will receive an otp on both the numbers and verify it.
6. Your number will get changed.
